what do you want?

what do you want?

In this edition of the good journal I want you to think about something very important in relation to you.

I want you to think about your wants.

What do you want in your day, in your house, in your relationships.

What do you want out of your life?

It shouldn't be that hard to figure out what you want if you're honest with yourself and completely open to your desires and new possibilities.

Once you figure out what you want out of your life, I want you to ask yourself a simple question?

What is stopping you from having what you want out of your life?

In most cases, the answer would be this - YOU.

The realisation that you are responsible for your fate is both a heavy responsibility and a liberating truth.

Acceptance of this truth is your one way ticket to freedom.

To be able to do anything you want.

Live wherever you want.

Achieve whatever you want.

Be with whoever you want.

You might perceive it as a fantasy. But know that there are human beings living the life that you dream of. What is a fantasy for one can be a reality for another.

As long as it's humanly possible, you can have it. Most people live their lives constricted and restricted, having lived that way for so long they forget that there are better realities, more rewarding pathways possible.

They don't allow themselves to have a better future because they don't believe it's possible. They are so limited by their thinking that their mind becomes a cage that holds their freedom and limits their capabilities.

Fantasy is meant to be lived not just to be viewed from afar.

Why should your life be mundane, while there are some people living exciting and purposeful lives?

Why should you limit yourself when there are people that walk through this earth with no regard for what is restricting them?

Why should you do what you're told to do when it clearly doesn't make you happy?

You should demand more from yourself. You should not accept mediocrity as a way of life for yourself.

You're not a cat, you don't have 9 lives. You only have one and to quote Fight Club-

"This is your life and it is ending one minute at a time."

So, do everything that you want to do. Have a sense of destiny and purpose. You don't have forever.

Make use of the time you have, you should demand from yourself nothing short of greatness.

Greatness is the only way of being.

Alright, that's it.

Bye my brosephines.

See ya next time.
