Stop chickening out.

Yo wassup chimps!
Long time no see. I've been really missing writing to you guys while I've been undergoing mentorship.
So in todays edition of the holy journal, we'll talk about responsibilities.
I know what a boring topic, but it has to be discussed and I promise i'll make it entertaining cause I know that you like reading my shit. (Don't Lie)
See just like me, you deep down would love to be a kid, devoid of any disturbances and responsibilities in your life.
And I want to let you know that it is possible to have the carefreeness of a kid, all you have to do is just reframe the way that you look at things.
I want you to stop hoping for a life without disturbances, instead I want you to wear that as a badge of honour.
All great men and women are disturbed. They are disturbed constantly by the chaos of unsure people.
After all, if the rest of the world doesn't rely on the greats, who else are they supposed to rely on?
Who else would you want to teach you the way if not the greats?
If greatness is what you strive for then disturbances is what you signed up for.
We all wish that life was just a cool breeze of air. But deep inside we long for something more concrete.
Your disturbances are what helps you achieve glory in your story.
As we all heard it in the movie The Gladiator,
"What we do in life echoes in eternity."
Your ability to deal with stressful situations amidst the chaos of life is what will make other people reliant on you, that is what makes you great.
I've been reading a lot of history lately and a bit of Jungian psychology.
I realised that there is a commonality among all the greats throughout history and its this-
Greatness is the willingness to die for what you believe in.
To live and die by the sword.
To believe in something so much that you start feeling.
A feeling so intense that you start seeing.
The Greats have had this ability to see much further than anyone else around them.
A belief so absolute that other people around will either think of you as crazy or be seduced by your level of faith in something so unknown that they have no other choice but to hop in on the wagon themselves.
If you have been reading my journals for a while, then you'd know that I talk about greatness a lot.
That's because not only do I want to attain my own greatness, but I also want you to walk your very own path of greatness.
I say that because the number 1 problem that I see in people around me is a lack of purpose.
They don't really know what they want out of life, they roam around aimlessly. Doing the things that everyone else does, not because they wanted to but because other people were doing it.
We waste so much time not doing the things that align with our purpose and thats why it is so important to first know what you want.
When you have clarity on what it is that you have to do then wasting time actually feels like a stupid mistake.
I highly implore you to know what you want out of life and work towards it. It is very rewarding.
The fact that I still am writing after 2 years and still not making it paid is because I just enjoy doing this so much that this in itself is a reward for me.
So I don't plan to anytime soon, I just love dropping gems for free.
Alright that's it for this week, see ya next time.
Bye.
(P.S. - I've been reading King Warrior Magician Lover and I would love to write about it as I think it should be a mandatory read, especially for men. Once I finish it, I'll talk about it. In the Meantime, enjoy some poetry...
Her Hair as lustrous and dark as a wild stallion.
Alone she sits in the corner of a dim lit room,
watching the rain drops splashing on the window.
Her face perfectly mirroring the weather,
gloomy and grey.
But every now and then there is a crack in her defensive shell.
A fleeting smile, a child-like smirk.
For a second it lasts,
But a second is all it takes for me to feel alive again. )
