size DOES matter

Yo chimps,

I was having my 3rd cup of coffee this morning (yes, I'm a caffeine addict so fuck you)...

And I was scrolling through Pinterest to find some ideas to write a blog on (again, yes Pinterest is my favourite doomscrolling social media)...

But 1 hour passed and I still had nothing to write about.

Which only annoyed me because I was starting to pick a fight with the sun for not showing up even though it's 7 in the morning. He has one job.

And then it struck me!

PROBLEMS!

That's the idea for the blog.

To be more specific, I got reminded of this quote that I've been reciting to myself every time I feel the need to complain about problems.

The quote goes -

"The size of your problems is the size of your life"

If the biggest problems in your life are...

You can't find the sock that you misplaced in the darkest corner of your house.

You ran out of milk so you can't have another cup of coffee.

Why is that girl not texting me back, it's been 2 days.

I hate to break it to you but...

The size of your life = small

And don't be surprised when someone who...

Has a fire lit underneath his ass.

Thinks that he doesn't have nearly as much time to accomplish everything he wants to accomplish.

Feels like he's destined for greatness.

Has sacrificed way too much to sit on his ass and do nothing.

Runs you and everyone else over like a monster truck.

Why?

He's got big problems.

Do you really think he's got the mental space to worry about the girl that didn't text him back when he wants his name to be etched in the history books?

So if you want a bigger life then set your sights higher.

Elevate your perspective, focus on what truly matters and ignore what doesn't matter.

Think of yourself as an Eagle soaring high in the sky, watching the landscape from an elevated perspective.

Eagles only set their sights on what truly matters.

Their position in the sky gives them a level of clarity that helps them in going after what they want.

That's how you want to look at your life...

From up above, where there is no noise.

There is only you, and the time that you have in isolation to really figure out what to set your sights on.

Once you do, go after it with all your might.
